Stephen Agustin (He/Him)

Stephen Agustin is a songwriter, guitarist, and singer. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and began playing the ukulele when he was seven years old. He started playing guitar at the age of ten after his father took him to a B.B. King concert. Two years later he began writing his own songs, recording them, and performing them live in various bands. His current band The Fourth Wall became a premier rock band in Honolulu, opening for national acts The Shins, Andrew Bird, and Menomena. In 2012 Stephen’s band moved to Portland, Oregon where they continue to write and record music. Since the band’s move, they have released two full-length albums, Lovely Violence and Infinite Other, both of which were written, engineered, and produced by Stephen. They have since gone on several national tours and have been the support act for bands Typhoon and Band of Horses.

During his performing career Stephen discovered a passion for teaching music. He enjoys helping others find their unique creative voice through music whether it be by exploring techniques for improvisation, songwriting, or performing a favorite song.

In his free time Stephen loves reading philosophy and experimenting with analog film photography.
