Piano + Voice Instructor

Lindsay hogan (She/Her)

Lindsay Hogan is a musician from Northport, New York. She grew up in a family that loves music and encouraged her to try various instruments, beginning with piano at age 5. She picked up the oboe in sixth grade and studied oboe performance in college at Manhattan School of Music.

After graduation, Lindsay moved to the West Coast to be closer to her sister and extended family. She and her husband, Drew, lived in Washington for a few years before landing in Oregon, which they absolutely love.Lindsay enjoys working as the Music Director at Fremont United Methodist Church, where she directs the choir, bells, and children’s music groups. She loves to compose and arrange music for the church and for her own enjoyment at home. She spends lots of her free time with her dog, Schubert, a chihuahua-terrier mix who loves cuddles and cheese.

Lindsay loves teaching piano and voice because of how music shaped her own life and gave her the skills the lead ensembles and express herself through songwriting. She hopes to share her love of music with her students at Vesper and encourage their musical growth and confidence.
