General Manager

Vesper School of Music General Manager Paul Laxer is an accomplished composer and music producer with a lengthy career in Portland’s local music scene. Paul produced and recorded many celebrated albums for American rock band Typhoon. At an early age in Atlanta, Georgia, Paul started studying guitar and quickly fell in love with the instrument. He is a dedicated fingerstyle guitarist inspired by Leo Kottke and Chet Atkins. You also may see Paul around Vesper teaching an occasional guitar or ukulele lesson!

In his spare time, Paul enjoys riding bikes around Portland, taking photography, and spending time with his wife, Vesper founder Becca Schultz, and their two poodles Bravo and Lenny.
