What time will my student perform?
Find your student’s name in the seven groups above. Recitals begin on the hour from 10 a.m. through 4 p.m. and last approximately 45 minutes.
When should we arrive?
Please arrive 15 minutes before your group starts. Allow extra time to park and find Room 326. There will not be time to practice at the venue before your performance, so practice ahead of time.
What is the dress code?
Please dress a little nicer than everyday wear—something comfortable that helps you feel ready to perform.
Can I change my recital time or group?
We cannot accommodate scheduling changes. If you cannot attend, please email info@vesperschoolofmusic.com. Thank you for understanding.
Can I take photos or videos?
Yes! Please feel free to take non-flash photos or videos of students in your family.
Can my teacher or parent join me on stage?
Absolutely. Ask your teacher or parent ahead of time if you would like their help. Practicing for a small audience beforehand can also help with nerves.
Do I need to announce my name and piece?
This is optional. Many students like to announce their name and piece before playing. The online list shows student names only.
Should I take a bow?
Yes—please take a bow after playing to thank your audience.
Can I attend another group?
You are welcome to attend a recital you are not performing in.
Can I still sign up?
The signup deadline was October 24, 2026. Please contact the office with any questions.
