Addison DeSantis is a multi-instrumentalist who loves sharing the excitement and joy of music with others. Growing up in Northern California, Addison’s first love was the drums. He played in grade school rock bands, soon picking up guitar and piano. Addison went on to study Music Composition and Arranging at California State University of Chico where he earned his Bachelor of Arts, participating in classical guitar, jazz, symphonic, and choral ensembles.

In addition to teaching, Addison has worked extensively in musical theater, serving as Music Director for the Blue Room Theater (Chico, CA), the Chapel Theater, and Oregon Children’s Theater. He also creates musical analysis videos for his Addy D. YouTube channel, and continues to write and record albums as Power Bait.

The multitude of teachers who have touched Addison’s life in their own ways continue to be his inspiration for giving the most he can to students, and he is always striving to create a safe and joyful environment for exploration and growth that is molded around each student’s unique interests and goals.
