Vesper E-Bills students for private lessons on a monthly basis and payment for the next month is due by the first day of each month. For example, if there will be four lessons in October the full payment is due by October 1st. Students pay online through our E-Bill system. There is an annual $15 registration fee per student, which covers student events and sheet music. A $10 late fee applies to payment received after the first day of the month and there is a $20 fee for returned/rejected payments. For any billing questions, please email us at email@example.com.
RESCHEDULING + CANCELLATION
To reschedule a lesson or for any scheduling questions please email us we will respond promptly. For day-of-lesson concerns, please call our office at 503.764.9657.
Students must give 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. If a student does not give 24 hours' notice the lesson will not be rescheduled and the student will be charged. Unfortunately, we cannot give refunds for missed group classes. If a student requests to reschedule a private lesson more than 24 hours in advance Vesper will make every effort to accommodate the request. One student-rescheduled lesson is allowed per student per month.
As working musicians, our teachers will occasionally have performances that conflict with lesson times. If this occurs, students will be notified at least 30 days in advance and will be provided with a substitute teacher for the lesson. Musical performances are necessary for our teachers to maintain their skills and value as educators.
Without a prior agreement (e.g., gift certificate, summer package), students must give 30 days' notice to discontinue private lessons. If a student discontinues without 30 days' notice they are still responsible for the full month's payment.
In the event of inclement weather, Vesper follows the lead of Portland Public Schools and our offices will be closed. However, lessons will still occur via Skype at the day and time of the lesson. Please contact us for further instructions about our Skype lessons during inclement weather.
